The official first day of the Big Feastival, where the main arena with all its eating and drinking establishments was fully open, along with all of the day’s acts and demonstrations around the festival site!
After a lazy start, cooking some breakfast and chilling at the campsite, we headed into the main festival arena to start the eating and drinking, erm, sorry, to look round, enjoy the music and have a few sociable drinks – ha!
The weather was amazing and we all had a great time, as shown in the photos and videos below. Even Steve surprised us with his hidden love for pop songs, especially during Barrioke (Shaun Williamson, Barry from Eastenders) which was an absolute blast! We’d planned on seeing the Rizzle Kicks but we were having such a good time we missed them completely!
Before heading back for some well earned sleep we hit the silent disco – still don’t know why they’re called that because they’re anything but silent! What an absolute blast!
