Harcourt Arboretum

Enjoying The Autumn Colours

Having driven past Harcourt Arboretum quite a few times, and with some time on our hands, I took Alice and Elisa out for a walk round to see what was there.

Harcourt Arboretum has been part of the University of Oxford since 1963. The site comprises 130 acres containing the best collection of trees in Oxfordshire with some of the oldest redwoods in the UK, something I was looking forward to seeing.

I was also hoping that the colours would be something the girls would enjoy seeing as the leaves were changing from green to golds and reds.

The girls took their cameras too and we spent more than an hour enjoying the autumn sites and sounds.
