Shelli’s dad’s been a Chelsea fan for as long as I’ve known him (that quite a long time) so for Christmas we paid for a tour of their stadium, Stamford Bridge.
We got the train into London and headed to the pub I’d booked us into for some lunch and a pint (The White Horse in Parsons Green) where the food was delicious and the pint was well kep.
Fed and watered we made our way to Stamford Bridge and joined the tour round the stadium, a fantastic live-guided 60 minute tour including the dressing rooms, press room, players’ tunnel, pitch side and more. We also visited the Chelsea FC Museum, home to the complete collection of Chelsea men’s and women’s team trophies and loads and loads of memorabilia etc. Dad loved it!
Always great to spend the day out and about with dad, and even though I’m not a football fan, the Stamford Bridge tour was really interesting.
